You’ll be camping on our working farm! Please be mindful of our animals, vehicles and peoples when you're navigating in and out of our site.
We want to share the beautiful natural surroundings we’re lucky enough to live in and we want all our guests to have an amazing, restful stay. And so to this end we ask everyone to be mindful and respectful of each other, our site and our camping requirements, which are fairly minimal but do need to be abided by.
Because of our stunning location we need to keep within regulations set by the South Downs Park Authority.
- This is a quiet site: no music is allowed during your stay and please keep noise to a minimum after 10.30pm.
- No cars/motorbikes or other vehicles are permitted to be parked near your pitch or unit, but you will be relieved to know you can drive up to the pitch to unload first! All vehicles must then be parked in the designated area (there’s a small fixed fee per stay as we need to keep track of the number of vehicles on site).
- We have washing up facilities on the campsite and drinking water with rustic recycled calf feeders in 3 locations, please bring a washing up bowl if you prefer to separate out washing up from washing hands!
- Please note our porta-loos and showers are all unisex.
- We do allow campfires. You can buy logs, kindling and firelighters on site.
- We’re part of the South Downs National Park and we have very dark skies; please bring a good quality torch with you, you’ll need one as parts of the site are unlit.
- No Dogs allowed. We’re a working farm and can’t permit dogs onto our site.
- We’re family friendly, bring the kids! There’s plenty of nature for them to soak up, you might see Fallow deer, Roe deer, hares, owls and many other creatures and birds during your stay.
