We are a tents only campsite located right on the South Downs Way making us an ideal place to stop when hiking or biking the South Downs Way
You can park onsite if you book a pitch with parking but these are limited, please tick the box to say you are bringing a car so that we can keep track of the number of cars parked as requested by the SDNP Authority.
We have washing up facilities on the campsite with drinking water at 3 wash stations made from recycled calf feeders, but please do bear in mind that this is a rustic back-to-nature campsite so you might want to bring a washing up bowl if this might worry you. Our water comes from our own borehole which is processed through a uv filter system.
Yes, they are only Porta- loos, but we are told they are the cleanest, nicest porta- loos!
On a serious note we are only allowed porta- loos by the South Downs National Park Authority as we need to be able to take them away in the winter when the field is put back to grazing.
Wake up to stunning views right from your tent, just open the flap and lie in your camp bed enjoying the view. Pitch up wherever you wish in the valley, there is plenty of space for everyone.
We have Cadence Cafe on site providing great coffee, delicious toasted sandwiches, cakes, breakfasts, cold drinks and ice creams.
Lots of space for kids to play games - football, cricket, rounders. The no car policy means more space for everyone to enjoy and less safety risk for your children.
